AC Technician- FM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced AC Technician to join our facility management team. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various air conditioning systems, including split units, cassette units, ducted units, package units, and basic chiller system maintenance.

• Installation and Maintenance:
  Install and maintain AC systems, ensuring efficient operation through regular preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues in AC systems; handle refrigerant recovery and recycling per safety standards.
• Basic Chiller Maintenance:
  Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance on chiller systems.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Keep accurate records of work performed and provide updates on major repairs or requirements.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Follow company safety standards, policies, and HVAC regulations.

• Education:
  
  Diploma or technical certification in HVAC systems or related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance, preferably in facility management.
• Skills:
• Proficient in handling various AC systems (split, cassette, ducted, package units).
• Basic knowledge of chiller systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
• Physical fitness to handle equipment and work in diverse conditions.
• Willingness to assist with other tasks when needed, such as supporting electricians or plumbers.
