We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor (Structure / Piping) to join our team. As a Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the welding activities of our projects, ensuring that all welding work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and supervise welding activities for structure and piping projects - Ensure that all welding work is carried out in compliance with project specifications and industry standards - Monitor and control welding processes to ensure quality and efficiency - Train and supervise a team of welders, providing guidance and support as needed - Conduct regular inspections to identify any welding defects and implement corrective actions - Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material traceability - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and resolve any issues that may arise - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees - Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in welding technology and techniques - Participate in project meetings and provide progress reports to management as required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in welding is preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role - Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment - Familiarity with welding codes and standards, such as ASME, AWS, and API - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to read and interpret project specifications and blueprints - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Valid welding certification is a plus Benefits :
