Day Shift Sr. Electrical Technician (steel company)

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely and effective solutions
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of electrical systems
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects and tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
• Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in electrical technology

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical engineering is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical technician, preferably in a similar industry or environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
