Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roll & Stand Guide Fitter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of roll and stand guides for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair roll and stand guides for various industries - Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with roll and stand guides - Perform regular maintenance and ensure proper functioning of equipment - Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble roll and stand guides - Inspect and test equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within the given timeline - Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of experience in roll and stand guide fitting - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and schematics - Proficient in the use of hand and power tools - Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication and customer service skills - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed We
