The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and adaptable Social Worker to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting students' social, emotional, behavioural, and academic wellbeing, while working collaboratively with families, staff, and external agencies to ensure every child can thrive. - A compassionate, proactive, and highly organized professional who is committed to supporting the wellbeing and success of young people.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Services, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in youth-related social work, ideally within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Provide individual and group support for students.
- Contribute to intervention planning and evaluation.
- Assist with crisis response and safeguarding matters.
- Promote positive partnerships between home and school.
- Collaborate to identify and address barriers to learning and support student engagement and wellbeing.
- Ensure appropriate support systems are in place for students and families.
