We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in software development. We are open to consider an immigrant for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications and systems using Java technologies. This includes developing back-end components (server-side) to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software development life cycle models and a good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Developing high-quality software solutions by writing well designed, testable, efficient code

• Maintaining existing code base for existing projects as and when required

• Troubleshooting application issues as they arise

• Collaborating with internal teams to identify system requirements

• Implementing security and data protection measures

• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Designing robust database schemas that represent the business logic

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ Years' experience in Java development
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD)
• Proficient at server side technologies such as J2EE, JSP/Servlets
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL/SQL Server/Oracle
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git/SVN
• Experience working with Agile methodology is desirable
• Excellent problem solving & communication skills
