Purpose and Objectives for the RoleThe Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's web applications and websites. The role ensures that platforms are efficient, scalable, secure, and aligned with Big Ticket’s strategic objectives. The jobholder collaborates with cross functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences that support business growth and operational excellence.
Overall Responsibilities Web Application Development- Develop and implement new web-based applications and websites.
- Write clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
- Build both frontend (UI) and backend (server side) components.
- Integrate applications with internal systems, databases, and APIs.
- Design and develop APIs for seamless system integrations.
- Follow SDLC processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Integrate RFID systems as required.
- Optimize frontend performance (load time, responsiveness).
- Optimize backend processing and database queries.
- Conduct regular testing, debugging, and tuning.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Provide technical recommendations for web design and system improvements.
- Implement and maintain web application security measures.
- Apply SSL, encryption, OAuth2, OpenID, and other protocols.
- Conduct security audits and fix vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of code, systems, and development processes.
- Prepare performance and progress reports.
- CI/CD:
Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field.
- Full stack web development experience (frontend & backend).
