- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and well‑structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform thorough manual and automated testing to identify, record, and track defects.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand system requirements and ensure high‑quality releases.
- Analyse test results, document bugs, and provide detailed reports on quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and strategies.
- Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure solutions are effective.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle to advocate for quality.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands‑on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is highly desirable.
