Power Apps Developer
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Power Apps Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to develop complex workflows, and work with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and SQL Server. .
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Power Apps solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Integrate Power Apps applications with Power BI dashboards to create interactive reporting solutions.
- Implement custom code (JavaScript, Power Apps formulas, JSON, etc.) where necessary to enhance application functionality.
- Work with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources to build scalable applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power Apps applications and workflows.
- Collaborate with business users to understand needs and translate them into functional applications.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance best practices are followed in Power Apps development.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in developing Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Power Automate and experience in creating automated workflows.
- Experience with Power BI integration and embedding reports into Power Apps.
- Hands‑on experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in Power Apps formulas, JavaScript, JSON, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and its integration with Power Apps.
- Ability to debug and optimize applications for better performance.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Experience with Azure services, AI Builder, and Power Virtual Agents is desirable.
- Knowledge of enterprise‑scale solutions and governance in Power Platform.
