About the Role
Our client, a leading Fintech company in the UAE, is seeking an elite Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi. This is a greenfield project where you will play a pivotal role in the development of data science features alongside data engineering. You will be responsible for designing ML pipelines, implementing algorithms to address dataset complexities, and spearheading the creation of a groundbreaking platform within a dynamic and skilled team environment.
Responsibilities- Develop forecasting and prediction models from POC to production-ready.
- Collaborate closely with product, research, and development teams to ensure product alignment and enhance product efficiency.
- Play a pivotal role in the research phase, identifying optimal market solutions for defined business challenges.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Offer guidance and expertise to both the R&D and product teams.
- 3+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Data Engineer with a key focus on Machine Learning.
- 5+ years in hands-on engineering roles with Python
. - 3+ years of experience in SQL
, including proficiency in complex queries such as aggregations and analysis. - Exposure to working on cloud technologies (
AWS, Azure, GCP
). - Expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques
, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. - Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit
. - Solid background in classical/traditional Machine Learning
. - Familiarity with MLOps and ML pipeline tools
, along with experience with scientific libraries. - Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics
, or equivalent experience (Masters Degree or PHD a huge plus).
