React Native Engineer

9-month initial contract with extensions. We are partnering with an exciting fast‑growing technology business that is transforming the way users interact with digital products across mobile platforms. As part of a high‑performing engineering team you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing mobile applications used by thousands of customers.

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers and Backend Engineers to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Build reusable, scalable and maintainable code.
• Optimize application performance, reliability and user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision‑making.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance and quality standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or Type Script.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or MobX.
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Nice to have:
  Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Nice to have:
  Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Nice to have:
  Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Nice to have:
  Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and mobile app deployment processes.
• Nice to have:
  Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
