Analyze and document complex business requirements for core banking system enhancements and new features translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Design and configure core banking modules to meet specific business needs ensuring seamless integration with other banking systems.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans including system integration testing and user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and data integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues within the core banking platform performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
Experience5-8 years of hands‑on experience in technical or techno‑functional support/implementation/development roles within the Temenos Transact (T24) core banking system with exposure in R20 or above releases. Previous experience of working with a bank in UAE will be an added advantage.
Module SpecificsExtensive, in‑depth knowledge and practical experience with Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payments Hub (TPH).
Technical Skills- Proficiency in Temenos development tools/frameworks: jBASE, TAFJ/TAFC, Info Basic programming, and Temenos APIs/Integration Frameworks (OFS, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Knowledge of SQL/jBase and windows environment for Temenos.
- Strong understanding of core banking operations, Islamic banking products (CASA, Wakala, Murabaha, Mudaraba, Ijarah etc), payment processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards (e.g., SWIFT, ISO
20022, CRS, CPS, IFRS etc).
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes or effective workarounds.
CommunicationStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, developers, and QA teams.
EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
CertificationsTemenos certifications are a plus.
