AI Engineer

Our client is expanding their AI capability in Abu Dhabi and is looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Data Scientist to help develop intelligent systems that solve real-world challenges. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of Large Language Models, Agentic AI and modern AI infrastructure, helping to shape products from concept through to deployment.

Working within a collaborative and fast-growing team, you'll play a key role in designing scalable AI solutions that combine cutting‑edge research with practical business applications.

As an AI Engineer / Data Scientist, you'll contribute across the full AI development lifecycle, from model development and agent design through to deployment and optimisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, fine‑tune and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) for conversational AI, knowledge retrieval and intelligent decision support.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, planning and interacting with external tools and services.
• Build multi‑agent systems that collaborate to automate complex business workflows.

• Implement solutions using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable seamless integration between AI models, enterprise systems and external APIs.
• Help build scalable AI infrastructure that supports secure data access, dynamic context management and production deployment.
• Contribute to the adoption of emerging AI standards and agent frameworks.
• Design, develop and evaluate machine learning and AI models using structured and unstructured data.
• Develop Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions that enhance user experiences across multiple products.
• Build AI applications for cloud, distributed and edge computing environments.
• Analyse data, identify patterns and develop predictive models that deliver meaningful business insights.

• Help shape the organisation's AI roadmap and future technology direction.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative AI solutions.
• Contribute within a fast‑paced environment where new ideas and technical innovation are encouraged.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and is excited by the rapid evolution of AI technologies.

You’ll ideally have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
• Strong experience developing AI and machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Experience working with Large Language Models and modern AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of NLP, deep learning and machine learning techniques.
• Experience integrating AI models with APIs and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI architectures and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
