About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting a large-scale, mission-critical technology platform. This role combines Backend Engineering, Production Support, SRE, and Dev Ops, with a strong focus on solving complex production issues, delivering customer-specific enhancements, and acting as the technical bridge between customers and the product engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents through debugging, root cause analysis, and code fixes.
- Develop backend features, customizations, automation scripts, and hotfixes.
- Monitor and optimize production systems in Kubernetes environments.
- Own technical issues end-to-end, coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Work directly with customer stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, MongoDB, and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to SRE, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Tier 3 Production Support.
- Experience troubleshooting live systems and leading technical investigations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with enterprise customers.
- Self-driven, hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
