We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of production experience in Type Script and React to join a technology team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is suited to an experienced frontend engineering professional with strong expertise in modern React application development, type-safe programming, advanced data management, routing, and frontend user interface technologies.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain scalable Type Script and React applications, manage complex data fetching and caching with Tan Stack Query, implement client-side routing with Tan Stack Router, and build advanced data grids using Tan Stack Table. The role also involves developing self-service multi-step workflows for an Internal Developer Platform and collaborating closely with backend engineers to establish and consume robust API contracts.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain type-safe React applications using Type Script.
- Build scalable and maintainable frontend architectures.
- Implement complex data fetching and caching solutions using Tan Stack Query.
- Develop client-side routing solutions using Tan Stack Router.
- Build complex data grids and data-driven interfaces using Tan Stack Table.
- Develop catalog-style views and dependency visualizations.
- Create custom self-service multi-step wizard workflows for an Internal Developer Platform.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume robust API contracts.
- Optimize frontend performance and application rendering.
- Identify opportunities for bundle-size reduction and implement performance improvements.
- Improve rendering efficiency and overall application responsiveness.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistent design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards.
- Write and maintain automated frontend tests.
- Support accessibility and usability improvements across applications.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform engineering teams.
- 5+ years of production experience with Type Script and React.
- Strong expertise in modern React application development.
- Hands-on experience with the Tan Stack ecosystem.
- Experience with Tan Stack Query.
- Experience with Tan Stack Router.
- Experience with Tan Stack Table.
- Strong Tailwind CSS skills.
- Experience with shadcn/ui.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and application development.
- Experience with frontend testing using Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
- Strong understanding of API integration and frontend-backend contracts.
- Experience optimizing frontend performance, bundle size, and rendering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Storybook.
- Knowledge of accessibility auditing and WCAG standards.
- Experience with platform engineering tools such as Backstage, Port, or Roadie.
- Experience developing internal developer platforms.
- Relevant frontend, cloud, or platform engineering certifications are advantageous.
