Role ContextThis assignment uses real software‑engineering experience to create reliable AI training material. The engineer will solve technically demanding coding scenarios, explain the reasoning behind each decision, and review submissions produced by other contributors. Strong outputs must be correct, maintainable, efficient, and supported by documentation that makes the problem‑solving approach understandable.
Key Responsibilities- Create expert‑level coding examples based on realistic software‑development challenges.
- Develop solutions using Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C , or Type Script.
- Examine unfamiliar codebases and determine how their major components interact.
- Reproduce complex failures and trace them to their technical source.
- Document debugging strategies, observations, tests, and final conclusions.
- Correct functional defects, edge‑case failures, and integration problems.
- Locate performance bottlenecks and apply measurable improvements.
- Implement substantial features from technical requirements through verified delivery.
- Design new components for scalability, readability, and future maintenance.
- Refactor legacy code while protecting required behaviour and interfaces.
- Simplify inefficient logic and improve code organization where appropriate.
- Apply algorithms and data structures suited to each problem.
- Create tests that demonstrate expected outcomes and prevent regressions.
- Explain design alternatives, assumptions, risks, and implementation trade‑offs.
- Prepare technical notes that increase the value of AI training examples.
- Review code and written submissions contributed by other engineers.
- Check peer work for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and engineering quality.
- Identify hidden errors, unsupported reasoning, or weak optimization claims.
- Provide constructive revision guidance supported by technical evidence.
- Incorporate project feedback and refine submissions during review cycles.
The preferred candidate has significant professional expertise in at least one supported language:
Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C , or Type Script. Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, system design, debugging, and performance engineering is required. Applicants should have experience refactoring large codebases, modernizing legacy systems, and delivering high‑impact features in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The ability to communicate complex technical reasoning clearly is essential. Previous AI experience is not mandatory. An active interest in AI engineering, model behaviour, and the quality of technical training data would be valuable.
