Provide hands‑on Service Now architecture expertise by translating organizational architecture, security, data, integration, and platform requirements into practical standards, patterns, templates, and governance artefacts, while guiding and assuring Service Now solutions delivered by product teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate enterprise architecture, security, data, integration, and operational policies into clear Service Now architecture standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain Service Now reference architectures, approved patterns, platform guardrails, design templates, review checklists, quality-gate criteria, and architecture decision records.
- Define standards for Service Now modules, workflows, integrations, data models, CMDB, CSDM, security, access controls, custom applications, portals, automation, and reporting.
- Provide hands‑on Service Now architecture guidance during planning, sourcing, design, implementation, upgrade, and readiness stages.
- Review Service Now HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, workflows, data models, security models, and customisations prepared by product teams and vendors.
- Assess compliance with enterprise standards, Service Now leading practices, security requirements, scalability, maintainability, performance, and upgradeability.
- Identify excessive customisation, duplication, platform risks, technical debt, non‑compliance, and required remediation.
- Promote reuse of standard Service Now capabilities, shared workflows, integration components, data models, and platform services.
- Assess new Service Now products, releases, and capabilities and provide architecture‑fit and adoption recommendations.
- Support Service Now architecture quality gates and provide domain architecture recommendations and approval inputs.
- 8+ years of technology experience, including significant Service Now architecture responsibilities
- Strong hands‑on experience developing Service Now standards, reference architectures, patterns, templates, and governance artefacts
- Strong knowledge of Service Now platform architecture, integrations, workflows, security, CMDB, CSDM, automation, and application development
- Experience reviewing and assuring enterprise‑scale Service Now implementations
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect is preferred
