Senior Backend Java Developer

This is an onsite position backed Abu Dhabi - Relocation is required

We are seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer with extensive experience in C to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions

Develop and Optimize Design develop and optimize backend systems using Java with a focus on scalable and high-performance architectures Cross-Technology Integration Leverage C experience to integrate with existing systems and provide interoperability between Java and C platforms Architectural Design Implement Domain-Driven Design DDD Reactive Programming and robust CI CD pipelines Testing Excellence Write unit tests integration tests and end-to-end E2E tests to ensure software reliability and quality Collaborative Development Work closely with developers system architects and product managers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions Technological Leadership Contribute to architectural decisions and lead the adoption of emerging backend technologies and frameworks

Experience Minimum 8 years of professional experience in backend development using Java Proven expertise in C particularly in systems integration or full-stack environments Technical Skills Strong understanding of functional programming Reactive Programming and message-based communication Proficiency in building and managing CI CD pipelines with tools like Git Lab and Docker Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Gradle Akka and Kotlin is a plus Experience with TDD Test-Driven Development and DDD Domain-Driven Design Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Self-motivated and capable of independent work while thriving in team environments Comfortable in fast-paced Agile settings Minimum 8 years of professional experience in backend development using Java.

Proven expertise in C#, particularly in systems integration or full-stack environments.

Strong understanding of functional programming, Reactive Programming, and message-based communication.

Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Git Lab and Docker.

Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Gradle, Akka, and Kotlin is a plus.

Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and DDD (Domain-Driven Design).Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
