Job Description:
As a Tech Lead – Java/React supporting Dicetek on an on-site basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise software construction, technical team leadership, and cross-functional project delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise-scale applications utilizing Java, full-stack technologies, and React front-end frameworks, leading technical squads through agile sprint cycles, engaging with client stakeholders and engineering managers, mentoring junior and mid-level developers, ensuring high code quality and architecture standards, and interacting directly with IT headhunters like Tanzeem Ahmad.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain robust enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems using Java and full-stack frameworks.
- Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and secure transaction processing channels alongside dynamic React front-end components.
- Lead technical engineering teams, provide architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, and enforce software development best practices.
- Engage proactively with clients, product managers, and executive stakeholders to define technical specifications and project milestones.
- Execute rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality assurance pipelines across full-stack deliverables.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production software anomalies, performance bottlenecks, and database query inefficiencies.
- Participate actively in technical design discussions, capacity planning, and agile sprint planning sessions.
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation, API specifications, system architecture diagrams, and release runbooks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive professional hands-on experience in software engineering and enterprise application development.
- Strong, demonstrable operational expertise in Java programming, backend architecture, and full-stack development.
- Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in React frontend development, JavaScript/Type Script, and modern web frameworks.
- Deep practical experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and leading technical teams in fast-paced corporate environments.
- Solid practical grasp of software version control systems (Git), CI/CD automation pipelines, and agile software development methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving aptitude, technical leadership capabilities, and professional stakeholder communication skills.
- Mandatory physical presence in the UAE and legal work authorization for on-site professional operations in Abu Dhabi (notice period of 15 days or less preferred).
Skills:
- Professional cloud and technical certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Professional Java Developer, or Scrum Master).
- Prior professional working experience in top-tier banking, financial services, telecommunications, or multinational IT consulting enterprises.
- Hands-on familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
