Logistic Coordinator

Our well-established logistics company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods and materials for our clients. We are open to candidates of any nationality, but proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the shipment of goods and materials for our clients
- Work closely with carriers, trucking companies, and other transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, delays, or issues that may arise
- Handle customs clearance procedures for international shipments
- Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions for our clients
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supply levels
- Manage all documentation related to shipping including invoices, bills of lading, and export paperwork
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a logistics coordination role
- Strong knowledge of transportation processes, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with logistics software preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. We welcome candidates without prior experience in logistics as we are willing to train the right candidate. However, having a biometric passport will be an advantage due to the nature of our business.
