Job Summary

Fed Ex is hiring two Part‑Time Couriers in Abu Dhabi. The role supports premium package delivery with a focus on customer service excellence and safety compliance. The position is scheduled for a 24‑hour work week on a rotating basis, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional ad‑hoc shuttling between Fed Ex locations.
Overtime is available in accordance with Fed Ex policy.

• Pickup, transport, and deliver supplies, mail, and customer packages to assigned locations.
• Update supervisor and dispatcher on issues, new events, and improvement ideas.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and respond to customer and internal inquiries.
• Ensure safe and secure movement of packages, following Fed Ex and legal requirements.
• Perform physical loading/unloading of trucks, containers, and sorting of documents or boxes.
• Follow vehicle inspection and safety procedures, keeping the vehicle and packages secure.
• Plan routes, prioritize stops, and re‑prioritize tasks to meet time windows and productivity targets.
• Process packages, including security scans, cash collection, and correct routing, while advising customers on documentation.
• Handle exceptions (incorrect addresses, customer closed, etc.) efficiently and accurately.

• Valid UAE manual driving licence (at least 6 months old).
• Experience operating a commercial vehicle is preferred.
• Good command of English; fluency in a local language is a plus.
• Physical fitness: able to lift up to 32 kg and move up to 70 kg.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Basic computer and printer usage skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Fed Ex operations and key services is an advantage.
• Geographical knowledge of Abu Dhabi city; good orientation and map‑reading skills.
