Job Purpose

The AMC Duty Officer coordinates Facilities Management (FM) activities between Airport Operations and the Airport Management Centre (AMC), ensuring effective fault response, outage coordination, emergency management, and operational continuity in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as primary coordination point between airport operations and FM teams.
  • Support and deputize for the Duty Manager when required.
  • Manage escalations, incidents, and critical asset breakdowns (P1 / P2).
  • Coordinate maintenance approvals with AOCC and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and communicate outages, faults, and operational impacts.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, QA/QC audits, and HSE walks.
  • Promote a zero‑injury safety culture and compliance with HSE standards.
  • Respond to airport emergencies and coordinate FM emergency activities.
  • Maintain situational awareness of passenger and aircraft operations.
  • Support FM Help Desk and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Prepare operational reports and performance data.
  • Communicate updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Business, Contract Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, operations, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience in airport operations or 24/7 operations preferred.
