- Drive heavy duty road tankers to deliver petroleum products according to dispatch schedules and shift plans.
- Inspect vehicle condition before loading and departure, ensuring maintenance checks, fuel levels, and safety equipment availability.
- Verify that product compartments are empty before loading and properly sealed after loading.
- Assist with loading and offloading operations at gantries and customer sites.
- Collect and manage product delivery notes and transfer documentation, ensuring proper customer signatures and returns to dispatch.
- Connect and disconnect hoses during product transfer, ensuring safe handling procedures are followed.
- Ensure presence of authorized personnel during product offloading at customer or depot locations.
- Monitor vehicle performance during trips and report any defects, unusual noises, or breakdowns.
- Coordinate vehicle cleaning, servicing, and repairs as instructed by supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including speed limits, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and work environment, managing spills and waste appropriately.
- Deliver professional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Primary school education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience driving heavy duty vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products.
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license.
- Knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with basic customer service practices.
- Strong awareness of road safety and hazardous material transportation regulations.
