Airside Operations Controller Airports

Job Requirements

• Mandatory possession of a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License, combined with an active or rapidly renewable GCAA Airside Driving Permit (ADP).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of highly specialized experience in airside operations, tarmac safety enforcement, or apron management at a major international airport.
• Deep, verifiable knowledge of ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CAR Part IX, and local UAE civil aviation regulatory frameworks; rigorous police and CID security clearances are required.

• Execute continuous physical inspections of active runways, taxiways, and aprons, rapidly identifying and removing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to prevent catastrophic aircraft damage.
• Monitor and enforce strict safety compliance among all ground handling crews and third-party contractors operating on the tarmac, issuing immediate violation reports for safety breaches.
• Coordinate real-time emergency responses during aircraft incidents, fuel spills, or severe weather conditions, acting as the primary liaison between ATC, Fire & Rescue, and terminal management.
