Logistician

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Logistician you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and materials to and from various locations. Your main duties will include planning and scheduling shipments, managing inventory levels, tracking orders and communicating with suppliers and clients. This is a contract position with an urgent need for candidates who are fluent in English, able to work without accommodation and have experience in logistics or a related field.

• Coordinate the transportation of goods and materials to various locations
• Plan and schedule shipments based on client needs and delivery deadlines
• Manage inventory levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Monitor shipment progress and address any delays or issues that may arise
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, customs forms and invoices
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities
• Collaborate with other team members to improve logistics processes and procedures
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices in logistics management

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies in shipping documents
• Proficient in using logistics software systems
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Canadian customs regulations is an asset
• Must be able to work without accommodation

This is a contract position offering a salary of $1,700 per month.

This job is located in Abu Dhabi. Relocation support is not provided.
