About the Job
To provide fully support to Bare Fleet department to assurance for ADNOC L&S with the highest emphasis on safety and routine daily jobs related to office and associated equipment, offshore operators and documentation.
Responsibilities- Focal point at Abu Dhabi office for any support required for barge fleet operations, primarily responsible for coordinating and supporting all operational requirements of barge fleet operated by Company.
- Provide technical support to the Barge Superintendent / Engineers by liaising with various internal stakeholders within the Company and with the Contractors.
- Manage barge and vessel requirements for materials (operational materials and consumable).
- Create MRs / PRs / Call Of Orders for any requirements for the barge fleet.
- Arrange air tickets with specified travel agency as per company procedure upon request from site employees.
- Coordinate with warehouse and arrange materials upon request received from sites.
- Arrange necessary training for all members (HSE and work related).
- Prepare and follow up on crews' rotational cycle.
- Implement HSE requirements.
- Prepare PPE for all employees.
- Follow up with Incident management team.
- Follow up any near miss case report by employees or outsider.
- Arrange security pass / Abu Dhabi port pass entry permits in time.
- Arrange tools and equipment from warehouse or generate local orders to facilitate daily operations.
- Maintain daily head count onboard including catering team, barge crews and maintenance team.
- Maintain records for jack up barge and cargo barge; provide support to technical team for preparing tender documents of technical specifications for any purchases; ensure documentation of all requisition for barge fleet with split of individual barges.
- Maintain reports including HSE performance, utilization of barges, maintenance days, consumption data, off-hire statistics etc.
- Prepare statistical presentations for Management when needed.
- Provide regular support to division leads for day-to-day operational needs.
- Responsible for overall seaworthiness of the vessel and soundness of the structure.
- Ensure modifications are done in a professional manner, consistent with statutory rules, recorded, and approved by Management and relevant Regulatory Authorities, including recording of weights for maintenance of vessel stability and load line requirements.
- Support in setting up facilities and necessary equipment in the Marine Coordination office.
- Free issue voice communication system, vessel tracking system and other coordination software & hardware; plan marine coordination resources.
- Ensure required entries in marine logs are made.
- Provide day-to-day training as required of national personnel.
- Assess reports and coordinate actions to minimize and control damage; participate in meetings and drills as a member of an emergency team.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement to the Integrity Management System (IMS).
- Maintain offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government/client regulations.
- Arrange and optimize supply and delivery of bunkers for time chartered vessels.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on vessel movements and performance including anticipated arrival and departure timing data.
- Maintain updated and accurate information in relevant accounting systems to ensure.
- Maintain records of barge movement on daily basis data.
- Act as mock drill, assembly point controller and head counts.
- Assist in relation to daily issues as well as weekly and monthly notices to be issued out.
- Liaise with the HSE Management in its duties in relation to offshore activities, exercises, incidents & in preparing various plans as necessary.
- Manage personnel tracking and operation of the vessel coordination system.
- Monitor and coordinate vessel traffic, personnel and materials to and from the offshore site.
- Determine the numbers of support vessels, guard ships etc. needed offshore in coordination with the Site & commissioning project Management.
- Marine coordination duties for the project, on a 24 hour/day basis with a duty telephone for the out-of-hours response.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of technical experience in office jobs.
- Analytical, problem solving, time management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to respond positively to events in an effective manner.
- Demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide after office hours support as and when the business requires.
- Good communication skills to enable communication with team members.
- Proficient in English (Good command, both spoken and written).
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP is essential.
