Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transportation of equipment, materials, and project assets between company yards, jetties, ports, warehouses, and offshore project locations, ensuring timely delivery to support project schedules.
  • Manage import and export documentation, including customs clearance, shipping documentation, cargo manifests, bills of lading, and freight forwarding activities to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient shipment processing.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs clearing agents, transport contractors, shipping lines, port authorities, and logistics vendors to monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.
  • Track equipment, cargo, and material movements throughout the supply chain, maintaining accurate logistics records, delivery schedules, and status updates for project stakeholders.
  • Support offshore mobilization and demobilization activities by coordinating vessel loadouts, equipment dispatch, cargo readiness, and transportation schedules in line with project execution plans.
  • Coordinate Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation and transportation requirements, ensuring compliance with IMDG and other applicable regulations for hazardous materials.
  • Maintain logistics trackers, shipment schedules, inventory movement records, and KPI reports while providing regular logistics status updates to project teams and management.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, airport transfers, and transport arrangements for offshore personnel and crew changes, ensuring timely mobilization in accordance with project requirements.
  • Identify logistics constraints, transportation risks, customs delays, or supply chain issues that could impact project schedules, escalating concerns and supporting mitigation plans.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with logistics planning, vendor performance monitoring, cost control, and process optimisation across offshore operations.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of logistics coordination experience within the marine, offshore, subsea, or oil & gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation planning, and offshore logistics operations.
  • Experience coordinating offshore mobilisations, vessel loadouts, equipment transfers, and project logistics activities.
  • Working knowledge of logistics documentation, shipping processes, cargo tracking systems, inventory management, and ERP/logistics tracking systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, competing priorities, and project deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills with experience working alongside vendors, freight forwarders, customs authorities, offshore personnel, and project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics tracking systems or ERP platforms.
  • Experience supporting offshore projects for ADNOC or other regional marine and offshore operators is highly desirable.
Certifications
  • IATA and/or IMDG Dangerous Goods Awareness Certification is preferred.
  • Relevant logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain certifications are considered an added advantage.
Benefits
  • Permanent employment with a growing offshore and marine engineering organization.
  • Opportunity to support major offshore, subsea, and marine projects across the UAE and the wider region.
  • Exposure to end-to-end offshore logistics operations, including vessel mobilizations, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and project supply chain coordination.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in offshore logistics, marine transportation, and complex EPC project support environments.
