To safely operate and control vessels supporting diving and marine operations, ensuring safe transportation of personnel, equipment, and materials while complying with maritime regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities- Operate vessels safely for transportation of divers, personnel, and equipment in accordance with approved procedures and maritime regulations.
- Ensure the safety of the vessel, crew, and passengers at all times.
- Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure availability and proper functioning of navigation, safety, and communication equipment.
- Monitor vessel performance, including engine systems, fuel levels, and operational gauges during trips.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on engines, fuel systems, and essential equipment, and report defects promptly.
- Navigate vessels safely considering weather conditions, tides, and environmental factors.
- Maintain effective communication with marine control, project teams, and other vessels via radio and communication systems.
- Support diving operations by maintaining correct vessel positioning and readiness during activities.
- Ensure compliance with maritime authorities’ regulations, including speed limits, licensing, and safety requirements.
- Monitor weather forecasts and make operational decisions to ensure safe sailing conditions. [Boat Operator | Word]
- Assist in docking, mooring, fuelling, and basic vessel handling activities.
- Maintain vessel cleanliness and ensure housekeeping standards are followed onboard.
- Support safe and efficient marine operations by maintaining high operational and safety standards
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Valid Boat Driving License
- Valid STCW certification
- Valid FTA license (up to 12 meters)
- Basic English communication (verbal and understanding)
- Knowledge of Hindi / Malayalam or other workforce languages is an advantage
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in boat operation or marine support roles
- Practical experience in vessel handling and marine navigation
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and marine communication equipment
- Knowledge of basic engine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Understanding of maritime safety procedures and emergency response
- Ability to work in offshore and high-risk environments
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, including night and weekend operations
- High level of attention to safety and operational detail
