Automotive Yard Inventory Management
Manage the day-to-day operations of the automotive yard including vehicle receiving, storage, movement, dispatch and space utilization.
Ensure accurate vehicle inventory through regular stock reconciliation, inventory audits and system updates.
Monitor vehicle condition, stock aging and coordinate vehicle transfers to support operational and customer requirements.
Manage the company truck fleet including transportation planning, fleet utilization, preventive maintenance, licensing and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate vehicle deliveries and movements, optimize transportation routes, manage third-party transport providers and monitor logistics performance to ensure timely and cost‑effective operations.
Oversee fuel consumption, fleet operating costs and vehicle maintenance to maximize fleet efficiency.
Lead and develop the logistics team including yard supervisors, logistics coordinators, drivers and support staff, ensuring high productivity and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards and transportation regulations while promoting a safe working environment.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), implement process improvements and drive continuous operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, fleet, or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the automotive industry and ERP systems is preferred.
