Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to transport load and unload materials ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift to identify any mechanical issues reporting problems to maintenance for timely repairs
- Accurately track inventory levels during loading and unloading processes updating systems to reflect real-time stock statuses
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize and maintain an efficient layout for optimal workflow and accessibility
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to safety regulations.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center, ideally with a focus on material handling.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment, showcasing reliability and skill.
