Truck Driver - Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are seeking a Truck Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience as a truck driver and be comfortable driving long-distance routes.
This is a full-time position with no English language requirement. A free visa and travel ticket will be provided for the successful candidate.
Primary responsibilities of the Truck Driver include:- Operating trucks to transport goods and materials to their destinations
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- Maintaining accurate logs of working hours and checklists for vehicle inspections
- Logging trip information such as fuel usage, mileage, etc.
- Loading and unloading cargo from trailers
- Communicating with dispatchers and other personnel on the road
- Managing emergency situations appropriately.
- Previous experience in truck driving (minimum 2 years)
- A valid driver’s license with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance purposes
- Knowledge of applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
