Responsibilities- Safely operating the truck in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Loading and unloading the truck, ensuring that goods are delivered on time.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the truck.
- Completing daily paperwork accurately and on time.
- Conducting pre-trip inspections before each journey.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of trucking laws and regulations.
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience driving trucks in busy urban areas.
- Knowledge of local roads.
- Good understanding of road safety rules.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to ensure the vehicle is running properly before each journey.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers during deliveries.
- Ability to work independently.
- Minimal work experience is expected but strong candidates with less experience may still be considered.
