Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Abu Dhabi. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks, transporting goods to designated locations, and following all route and schedule requirements. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, securing and unloading cargo, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes and delivery status. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company safety policies, and relevant regulatory standards.

The Truck Driver is also expected to keep the vehicle clean, perform minor preventive checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Truck Driving and safe operation of commercial trucks.
  • Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle driving license, with a strong record of responsible driving.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations or comparable transport regulations, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with loading, securing, and Unloading cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Good navigation and route-planning abilities, including familiarity with local and regional roads.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading delivery documents and completing logs.
  • Previous experience in commercial transportation or logistics is beneficial.
