Responsible for loading and delivery of ready mix concrete and associated products in a safe and efficient manner to construction job sites. Vehicle maintenance: performs pre trip and post trip vehicle safety inspection and reports vehicle condition at the beginning and end of each shift with completion of inspection reports required daily. Operate the mixer truck to mix, agitate, and discharge concrete as per project specifications.
Must follow company policy, procedures and supervisors instructions Adjust water levels and drum speed to maintain the concrete s quality during transit. Excellent defensive driving skills. Ability to maintain and uphold The Good Service Company standard for customer and public relations in performance. Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition. Clean the mixer drum and truck exterior after each delivery to prevent material buildup.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to operate and control heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Prior experience as a concrete mixer driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with concrete handling and construction site operations is a plus.
