Safad Trading Establishment is seeking a dependable Light Vehicle Driver in Abu Dhabi to support daily business and operational activities. The successful candidate will transport staff, documents, tools, and light materials safely and on schedule while maintaining professional conduct when representing the company.
Key responsibilities- Drive company vehicles safely in accordance with UAE traffic regulations and internal procedures.
- Complete scheduled pickups, drop-offs, deliveries, and collection tasks across Abu Dhabi as assigned.
- Conduct basic pre-trip vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance, damage, or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, fuel records, and other required documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading light items while ensuring goods are handled securely.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Plan practical routes, monitor traffic conditions, and communicate delays or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Provide courteous service to colleagues, clients, vendors, and visitors.
The role requires punctuality, flexibility, responsible vehicle care, and consistent attention to road and workplace safety.
Requirements- Valid UAE driving license appropriate for light vehicles and a safe, responsible driving record.
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads, major routes, traffic rules, and local destinations.
- Ability to use navigation applications and plan efficient routes.
- Basic vehicle inspection skills, including checking tires, fluids, lights, and general roadworthiness.
- Ability to complete delivery notes, trip sheets, fuel logs, and routine records accurately.
- Strong punctuality, reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
- Professional communication and courteous interaction with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to lift and handle light materials safely when required.
- Willingness to follow company safety procedures and maintain confidentiality of company documents.
