About the Job Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
- Prepare related documentations in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
- Provides technical and administrative assistance during negotiation phase of the terms of charter in order to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and terms and conditions meet requirements.
- Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available on a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain data base and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.
- University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
- 5-10 years relevant and principal experience in energy sector working with an international Oil company/ Owner / Operator / Cargo Trader dealing
- Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (preferred).
