Work Schedule: 5 Months Offshore + 1 Month Paid Leave
About the RoleWe are hiring an experienced Road Safety Officer for a leading Abu Dhabi-based company operating in the Oil & Gas / Construction sector.
The ideal candidate must have proven ADNOC project experience
, hands‑on IVMS expertise, practical Road & Transportation Safety experience, and knowledge of ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management Systems.
This is a specialized Road & Transportation Safety position, not a general HSE Officer role.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct road safety inspections of vehicles, heavy equipment, road conditions and marine transportation assets.
- Monitor driver behavior using IVMS (FMS Tech/FMSi) and implement corrective actions.
- Perform daily/weekly IVMS audits and monitor subcontractor fleet safety compliance.
- Prepare Traffic Management Risk Assessments, TRA, FRA and JSA documentation.
- Implement traffic management plans, vehicle routing controls and safety signage.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Life‑Saving Rules, ISO 39001 road traffic safety management requirements, PTW and transportation safety standards
. - Investigate transport‑related incidents and near misses and prepare safety reports.
- Minimum 3 years of direct Road / Transportation Safety experience.
- Proven ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Hands‑on IVMS / fleet monitoring experience is mandatory (FMS Tech, FMSi or equivalent).
- Practical experience applying ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management Systems requirements is mandatory.
- Experience in vehicle inspections, driver behavior monitoring and fleet safety.
- Practical knowledge of TRA, FRA, JSA and Traffic Management Risk Assessments
. - Strong understanding of ADNOC HSE standards, Life‑Saving Rules and PTW procedures
. - Willingness to work 5 months offshore followed by 1 month paid leave

- Offshore transportation safety experience.
- Subcontractor fleet safety monitoring.
- NEBOSH, IOSH or relevant safety certifications.
Food, accommodation and transportation provided during offshore assignments.
Only candidates with proven ADNOC project experience, hands‑on IVMS expertise, practical ISO 39001 implementation experience and direct Road / Transportation Safety experience will be considered.
General HSE experience alone is insufficient.
