- Plan schedule and coordinate daily transportation activities and trips
- Allocate vehicles and drivers according to operational requirements and customer needs
- Monitor vehicle movements trip progress and arrival times through GPS tracking systems
- Ensure timely pickup delivery and completion of assigned trips
- Maintain regular communication with drivers transport supervisors and customers
- Monitor driver attendance vehicle availability and compliance with approved routes and schedules
- Coordinate vehicle breakdowns maintenance and replacement vehicles to minimize operational delays
- Maintain accurate trip sheets dispatch logs vehicle records and driver details
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety procedures and applicable transport regulations
- Prepare daily dispatch reports and report delays accidents breakdowns and other operational issues to management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient transport operations
- Identify operational issues and support improvements in fleet utilization route planning and service efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in transport dispatching, fleet coordination, or logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of route planning, vehicle scheduling, and transport operations.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, Microsoft Excel, and transport management software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight schedules.
- Knowledge of road safety procedures and applicable transport regulations.
- Good record-keeping, reporting, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other relevant languages is an advantage.
