Job Purpose

The Store Keeper is responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient warehouse operations in support of Powertech’s operational and project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Perform the necessary booking for inbound, outbound, and on‑plan transactions.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials in accordance with specifications and HSE standards.
  • Avoid overstock in the same location and maintain a safe environment inside the warehouse.
  • Ensure data entry is maintained in a quality and timely manner.
  • Support all end‑to‑end processes within the warehousing and logistics workflow: inbound, inspection, receiving, putaway, picking, issuance, shipment preparation, system booking, and reporting.
  • Monitor stock and manage physical counts.
  • Issue materials based on approved requests and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records in SAP or the warehouse management system.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete materials.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse at all times.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams regarding material availability.
  • Support audits by providing inventory data and documentation when required.
  • Comply with company policies, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or high‑school certificate (technical or logistics background preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Store Keeper or Warehouse Assistant, preferably in industrial, aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or power sector environments.
  • Experience using SAP or inventory management systems.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong inventory control and documentation skills.
  • Fluency in oral/written English essential.
  • Advanced computer literacy (SAP, MS Excel).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
  • Team‑oriented with good communication skills.
