Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipment receipts, issuance, storage, and protection of all material and equipment.
• Manage the country’s warehouse facilities, including planning and directing shipment receipt, storage and issuance processes.
• Establish and maintain warehousing and distribution standards and procedures for the facilities.
• Supervise and coordinate data entry of receipts and ensure all materials are stored safely and orderly in compliance with QHSE standards.
• Develop and maintain performance measures, working schedules, duties and evaluations for warehouse staff.
• Provide training to warehouse staff in warehousing, material handling, equipment safety, and handling/use of hazardous materials.
• Manage and coordinate pick‑up, storage and delivery services.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories of stocked items and perform related warehouse duties as required.
• Maintain the quality, environmental and QHSE system and ensure PPC policies are understood, implemented and maintained.
• Accept legal and moral obligations to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor/manager position.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining a computerized inventory control system.
• Ability to establish warehousing and distribution standards, develop storage space utilization plans and conduct periodic inventories of surplus materials and equipment.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
