Responsibilities
Manager Logistics is responsible for directing supervising and managing all warehouse operations and logistics activities across storage locations The role oversees staff workflow receipt inspection storage preservation issuance and distribution of materials to support operational requirements The position is also responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel infrastructure and storage facilities while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures Responsibilities Lead motivate develop and supervise warehouse and logistics staff Ensure warehouse and logistics operations are conducted efficiently professionally and cost-effectively Plan coordinate and oversee all warehouse and logistics activities Support the Head of Department in developing operational strategies and improvement plans Manage Abu Dhabi Airports fleet operations Coordinate effectively with procurement and operational departments to ensure smooth material support Maintain the security preservation and proper storage of warehouse materials Optimize warehouse space utilization to meet long-term storage requirements Manage scrap material handling disposal processes and sale of scrap tenders Monitor and control outsourced service providers performance Manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records Oversee maintenance of vehicles equipment and machinery Identify training needs and arrange staff development programs Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback Organize safety drills and promote safety awareness in coordination with HSE AES teams Manage receipt storage issuance and distribution of materials Oversee inventory documentation ERP transactions and audit records Coordinate with end-users and procurement to resolve operational and material-related issues Provide logistics support services across departments Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Coordinate inventory optimization through monitoring of slow-moving and non-moving items Measure staff KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives Support risk assessment reviews with HSE teams Promote incident near-miss and environmental reporting Monitor adherence to HSE procedures and ensure corrective actions are addressed Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Education& Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Specialized training in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehouse Management, or Inventory Management.
- Experience Minimum 7+ years of experience in a supervisory role within warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong practical knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems.
- Experience with warehouse safety systems, first aid, and fire prevention practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, databases, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
