About the RoleAs a Senior Officer - Gate 2 within our Aviation and Aero Engine MRO Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day warehousing, kitting, and material movement activities. Your efforts will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of engine parts to production, contributing to operational efficiency and engine turnaround times. Working closely with the warehouse and kitting teams, you will ensure proper documentation, accurate inventory handling, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Additionally, you will mentor junior members of the material fulfillment team, providing guidance and first-level support to uphold process integrity and documentation accuracy.
- Assist in preparing and issuing kitting bins according to engine build schedules, performing material picking, staging, and physical verification against kit lists.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation by updating system entries for kitting completion, stock transfers, and material movement using Oracle or designated ERP systems.
- Conduct spot-checks and review colleagues' entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with fulfillment procedures.
- Participate in cycle counts and stock accuracy verification, identify discrepancies, and lead spot-check counts while coaching Officers on best practices.
- Support internal material movement from warehouse to production areas, monitor kit flow, and report any bottlenecks to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols, safety standards, and proper storage of materials in warehouse and kitting zones.
- Assist team leads with urgent fulfillment requests, participate in daily team huddles, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean exercises.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members to foster their development and maintain high team performance.
We seek a dedicated professional with a diploma or vocational qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is advantageous but not mandatory. You bring 4-5 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations, preferably with exposure to aviation or MRO environments. You demonstrate advanced knowledge of warehouse workflows, inventory management, ERP systems such as Oracle, and kitting procedures, complemented by a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
Key competencies include team leadership and coaching skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent time management to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting. Your analytical mindset and commitment to quality assurance will ensure that processes are followed meticulously and operational goals are met.
