Parts Picker; Automotive Workshop

- Pick spare parts against authorized parts requisitions, job cards, and workshop requests.
- Verify correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications before issuing.
- Ensure parts are issued to the correct technician, job card, or vehicle.
- Arrange picked parts in designated staging areas for workshop operations.
- Maintain proper stock location discipline and ensure parts are stored in designated bin locations.
- Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or mismatched parts immediately.
- Ensure stock movements are accurately recorded in the Oracle JD/ERP/DMS system.
- Follow all workshop and warehouse safety procedures.
- Use appropriate material handling equipment safely.
- Comply with company policies, inventory controls, and quality standards.
- Assist in unloading, receiving, labeling, and shelving parts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts warehouse.
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) practices where applicable.
- Support binning and stock arrangement activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive spare parts knowledge preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with JD/DMS/ERP systems.
- 1-3 years’ experience in automotive parts stores or warehouse operations.
- Ability to read parts requests and part numbers accurately.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, Good communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop environment.
