ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Warehouse Specialist
- Operations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, within the Oil & Energy industry, to strengthen warehouse performance, inventory controls and stakeholder coordination.
This opportunity focuses on reliable materials handling, efficient order fulfillment, cost management and compliance across warehouse activities supporting the wider business.
Role PurposeDevelop and implement practical warehouse operating strategies that improve inventory accuracy, service delivery and cost efficiency. The specialist works with warehouse teams, transport and logistics colleagues, vendors and affiliated companies to maintain safe, coordinated operations and ensure that materials move through the supply chain effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Establish warehouse operating procedures and improvement plans aligned with business priorities.
- Review warehouse performance measures, investigate inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Improve inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving and dispatch practices.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics departments to reduce handover delays and improve service continuity.
- Develop training programs for warehouse supervisors and staff covering operating methods and safety requirements.
- Inspect warehouse facilities and equipment, identify maintenance needs and follow up on safety compliance.
- Review regulatory obligations and address gaps in warehouse procedures or working practices.
- Prepare and manage warehouse operating budgets, assess variances and identify responsible cost-reduction opportunities.
- Support supplier and vendor relationship management, including contract discussions when required.
- Evaluate relevant industry developments and recommend suitable technologies or process improvements.
- Coordinate with ADNOC affiliated companies on information sharing and potential intercompany materials transfers.
Work with the SVP Group Commercial Operations and Execution and other division leaders to align warehouse services with organizational requirements. Engage suppliers, vendors and government representatives to clarify purchasing-related regulations and emerging requirements. Maintain effective relationships with internal operational teams and external service providers.
Operational Leadership and GovernanceSupervise assigned activities and support staff development through targeted coaching and training. Implement approved policies, operating standards and internal procedures. Contribute to departmental performance objectives, management information reports and progress updates. Promote process improvements that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls.
Health, Safety and SustainabilityApply relevant ADNOC HSE requirements, applicable legislation and sustainability guidance across warehouse activities. Monitor compliance with safe operating procedures, identify corrective actions and support a culture of responsible materials handling.
