About the RoleThe Senior Supervisor / Team Leader
- Material Fulfillment plays a critical role in supporting the Manager
- Material Fulfillment to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of engine material requirements within Sanad's MRO operations. This hands-on leadership position oversees warehouse, kitting, marshalling, and internal logistics teams to guarantee that all engine material kits are prepared, verified, and delivered to production lines in accordance with approved build plans. The role emphasizes material readiness, stock availability, and smooth internal material movement while upholding strict compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Material Fulfillment & Coordination (30%): Supervise daily fulfillment for active engine builds such as Trent, V2500, GEnx, and LEAP; track progress in Oracle cMRO; coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve shortages; verify kitting completion and readiness.
- Warehouse & Kitting Operations (25%): Oversee warehouse and kitting areas ensuring compliance with storage, safety, and handling standards; ensure proper labeling, staging, and packing; monitor picking and segregation accuracy; support space utilization and efficiency improvements.
- Internal Logistics & Material Flow (15%): Supervise internal material movement between warehouse, kitting, and production areas; ensure timely, sequenced transfer of kitted materials; identify and resolve material flow bottlenecks.
- Inventory & Stock Control (10%): Support stock counts and reconciliation; monitor slow-moving or critical items; maintain accurate documentation for all materials received, issued, and returned.
- Compliance, Quality & Audit Support (10%): Ensure operations comply with corporate quality and regulatory standards (GCAA/FAA/EASA); maintain audit readiness with proper documentation and adherence; support corrective actions for audit findings.
- Team Supervision & Development (10%): Lead and motivate warehouse, kitting, and marshalling teams; conduct daily briefings; coach and develop team members; enforce safety policies, 5S standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
We seek a seasoned professional with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering, with preferred certification in Warehouse or Inventory Management. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in material fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics operations - preferably in aviation or MRO and 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or team leader role managing warehouse or kitting teams.
- Expertise in warehouse and kitting coordination and material staging processes.
- Strong ability to ensure inventory accuracy and real-time material tracking.
- Proficiency in optimizing material flow and understanding production line sequencing.
- Experience using Oracle cMRO or ERP systems for material tracking and fulfillment.
- Knowledge of aviation quality and regulatory compliance standards related to part traceability and documentation.
- Effective team leadership and motivation skills to drive productivity and safety.
- A continuous improvement mindset supporting lean initiatives and process enhancements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills liaising with procurement, production, and quality teams.
This position reports directly to the Manager
- Material Fulfillment within the Aviation and Aero Engine MRO Group, Operations Department, Gate 2 Section. Supervisory responsibilities include oversight of roles such as Supervisor
- Warehousing, Kitting & Marshalling, Material Review Specialist, and Engineers within these disciplines. The role is classified as Grade 10 and is a full-time, overhead employee category. It offers an opportunity to lead critical material fulfillment operations supporting high-profile engine build programs and to contribute to continuous operational excellence in a dynamic MRO environment.
