A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and student-focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to join our Construction & Motor Vehicle team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role will be primarily based at our Accrington & Rossendale College campus, however travel across sites may be required.

• Lead and manage a team of Lecturers, delivering on the Motor Vehicle provision.
• Lead on the internal verification and quality processes.
• Support curriculum planning, development, and delivery to meet awarding body requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor teaching, learning and assessment to ensure high quality and consistency across the department.
• Track and report on student progress, retention, achievement and progression.
• Maintain effective links with employers, apprenticeships and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with College procedures, including Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the Motor Vehicle curriculum.

• Minimum GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Relevant Motor Vehicle-related qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification.
• Proven experience of teaching/training in a Motor Vehicle environment within Further Education or Industry.
• Experience of managing or mentoring staff.
