- £40,000 (including night shift allowance)
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 10:00 pm – 7:30 am
- Only a 4‑day working week
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays

- Time‑served engineer (or equivalent qualification) with a strong background in high‑accuracy machining environments
- Proven experience operating CNC turning machinery, with ability to confidently set, run and adjust machines
- Familiar with CNC controls including Mazak, Fanuc and Okuma (preferred)
- Ability to read, interpret and work accurately from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience machining stainless steel components to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Milling experience advantageous, with a strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Set up tools, load materials and operate CNC machines to machine components to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate manufacture to required tolerances
- Inspect and measure components using appropriate inspection equipment to maintain quality standards
- Maintain accurate quality records and use computer systems for production/data entry
- Follow health & safety procedures, maintaining a clean working environment and handling materials up to 25 kg
- Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organisation
