Machine Operator - Manufacturing
Pay: £13.21 - £15.14 per hour, depending on experience
Contract:
Full-Time, Ongoing
Shifts:
Rotating Days & Afternoons
Hours:
34 paid hours per week
Evo Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and successful manufacturing company.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is looking for stable, ongoing work with the opportunity to develop their skills and progress within manufacturing.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and quality-focused, with the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a small production team.
Working HoursYou will work a rotating shift pattern:
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- 34 paid hours per week
- Unpaid breaks
- Setting and operating CNC and production machinery.
- Using the appropriate machine software and controls.
- Producing small to medium-sized components from engineering drawings.
- Manufacturing small to medium production batches.
- Working accurately to specified measurements and tolerances.
- Carrying out regular quality checks on finished components.
- Identifying and reporting any production or quality issues.
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Working closely with other members of the manufacturing team.
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.
- Previous Machine Operator experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- CNC machine operating experience would be advantageous.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- A good understanding of measurements, tolerances and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- The ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.
- A reliable and flexible approach to work.
- The confidence to work independently as well as within a team.
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- £13.21 - £15.14 per hour, depending on experience
