Responsibilities
- Work within the Welfare Rights Team supporting vulnerable individuals to access benefits.
- Advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
- Collaborate with groups and organizations to increase awareness and understanding of welfare rights.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals in need of welfare assistance.
- Passion for social change and helping vulnerable individuals.
- Challenge – willingness to challenge existing processes and advocate for entitlements.
- Empathy and resilience to work with vulnerable individuals and understand the mental health impact of poverty.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle for travel across Lancashire.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to social change by advocating for vulnerable individuals and providing essential guidance on welfare rights. Possesses empathy and resilience to effectively support those impacted by poverty and mental health challenges.
