As the company continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join the operation participating in nightly trunk runs out of Accrington down to the Midlands, Northwest and occasionally Scotland areas.

Key Responsibilities

* Nightly trunking to the Midlands, Northwest and Scotland

* Maximum 2 deliveries per night

* Start times between 18:00 – 20:00

* Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliveries

* Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

* Complying with driver hours, WTD regulations, and all transport legislation

* Maintaining high standards of professionalism when representing the company

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

* Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Good understanding of UK road networks and night operations

* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
